Box Office: Gadar 2 Becomes First Film to Collect Rs 30 Crore Nett for 6 Consecutive Days

Gadar 2 is basically the sequel to Gadar – Ek Prem Katha starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. It hit the screen only last week and since then rising high on success at the box office.

The film initially had a stellar opening but then witnessed an upward trend. With each passing day, Gadar 2 has managed to surpass the the Rs. 100 cr. and the Rs. 200 cr. mark in record time.

Gadar 2 has managed to surpass collections of more than Rs 30 crore each day so far. The film initially opened with a mere collection of Rs. 40.10 crore which continued to grow further with days at the box office.

On its first Sunday, the film witnessed a marginal drop of 5% collection with Rs. 38.70 cr. coming in. But on the occasion of Independence Day (Tuesday), the film managed to collect a whopping Rs. 55.40 crore which surpassed its previous Rs. 200 cr. mark. On day 6 (Wednesday), the film further witnessed a collection of Rs. 32.37 crore.

At present, the charisma of Gadar 2 is still flowing in the mind and hearts of the audience. Most trade experts claim that it will further boost the film’s business in the time to come.

As per advance estimates, Gadar 2 could approach somewhere near the Rs. 300 crore mark by the end of its first week.
