Cameron Diaz Opens Up About Facing ‘Heavy Misogyny’ In Hollywood

 Cameron Diaz is a well recognized face in the world of Hollywood. In the recent past, the actress has disclosed so many things about the cine world that endured misogyny for years.

After having it for so many years, the actress has opened up about everything her fans would like to know.

Diaz is known for some of her memorable roles in films like ‘There’s Something About Mary’, ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’ and ‘The Mask’. Due to years of humiliations and misogyny that she had to feel in Hollywood, the actress shad no choice but to say goodbye to the cine world in the year 2014.

While narrating her perspective towards what she had to bear in Hollywood, Cameron Diaz said that it was just a normal aspect of what the industry behaved between the years 1990s and 2000s.

Cameron Diaz who’s also recognized as the The ‘Charlie’s Angels star also stated that her choice of roles were simply not enough for her to go ahead with the double standards of the Hollywood industry. According to her, things are quite different in the present age.

This is what Diaz recalled, “Be the one who participated enough to make everybody feel taken care of but not to be a victim in that position. To know how to navigate the whole thing because it was happening all day, every day in every little feeling of layers of existence,” the actress recalled.
